About Poker Realms

Poker Realms is made in England by one developer, with a lot of help from the people who play it.

How it started

We grew up playing Texas Hold'em on game sites like Miniclip. The one we kept coming back to was Goodgame Poker, from Goodgame Studios, and we played it on and off for more than ten years. It was simple to look at and easy to pick up, and we loved it for that. But it was never easy to use, and it never taught anyone how to actually play poker. And in the end, the cheats and the gold sellers ruined it for us.

The other poker games went the opposite way. They worked so hard at looking like a real casino that they forgot to be fun.

In 2020 the idea came back, and this time it stuck: build the poker game we always wanted to play.

What Poker Realms is

• A game that teaches you. We're building lessons that take you from your first hand to knowing what you're doing.
• A world you come back to. Players from all around the world, and after a while you start to recognise the regulars.
