Never played poker?
The free tutorial lands on Monday 2 November, and a full learning guide follows on the site.
The in-game tutorial: Monday 2 November
- It arrives in our next release, on Monday 2 November.
- You don't need to know anything first. It deals you a real game of Texas Hold'em and talks you through it as you play.
- It explains your cards, when it is your turn, what each button does, and who won and why.
- It is free, and there is nothing to read before you start.
A learning guide on how to play poker
- We're also adding a learning section to the site, separate from this blog.
- It is a step-by-step course on how to play poker, for people who would rather read and learn before they sit down.
- It covers the rules of Texas Hold'em, the order of hands, how betting works, and tips for your first games.
- We don't have a date for it yet. We'll announce it here.
Until then
- Stay tuned. The tutorial drops on Monday.
